Superhero Hustle - 203037

Kids, put your capes on and suit up for an adventure! The Superhero Hustle is a one mile fun run full of seven crazy obstacles only a superhero could conquer! Watch out, you WILL get muddy as you race to the finish line! *There will be two heats: one for ages 4-8 at 9A and one for ages 9-13 at 9:30A. Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero or create an identity of their own! Each child who participates will receive a participant shirt and finishers medal! A parent will be required to walk on the sidelines of the course near their children (ages 4-8) from start to finish. Parents of children (ages 9-13) are encouraged, but not required, to walk near their child as well. However, a parent must remain at the venue. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed. *Registration is $20 by May 20; or $25 after. (Min 50/Max 200)

4th of July Parade - 201003

t\The annual 4th of July Parade starts at 10A at Holt High School and travels east on Pearce Boulevard, ending at Luetkenhaus Boulevard. Everyone is invited to participate in the parade by making/designing a float. This year's theme is, "Celebrating the American Dream." Floats will be judged for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, along with Mayor's Choice and Best Musical Entry for 1st and 2nd place. Float registration required (fee may apply*). To register, please call (636)332-9236. After the parade3, join us at Progress Park for FREE activities all day and night! 12-5P free swim at Progress Pool ONLY; inflatables, ultimate bungee, LED rock climbing wall, stilt walker, airbrush artist, pony hop bouncers, wrecking ball, bubble soccer and kids crafts.; 6-9P live music by Hollywood 5, and 9:05P fireworks.

Pooch Plunge - 207001

Has your pooch been suffering in the summer heat or confined to the air-conditioning for months without a chance to go outside? Bring man’s best friend to Splash Station for this once-a-year chance for your K-9 friend to enjoy the pool like the rest of the Wentzville's residents. Each dog will receive a snack, and have a chance to win door prizes. All dogs must be leashed while out of the water. You must show proof of vaccination at the time of registration. *Please note: on the event day, the cost will be $15/dog and a snack is not guaranteed. In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, the event will be made up on SEP 5 at 5:30P. Before the seasons change and you want to clean house for the holidays, plan a sale as part of the city wide yard sale! For $6 you can list your sale in our yard sale booklet. You have the option to have a sale one day or two! Deadline to list a sale is Monday, SEP 17. Beginning Wednesday, SEP 19, shoppers may purchase a booklet listing all of the area sales at City Hall or Progress Park for only $2. (date is week before Wentzville Homecoming Parade. Large trash pick-up, Oct 1-5.)
